Who has more fun than restaurant people?
He runs like Josh Hawley 😂
Love Manuel with my entire heart ❤
Mr Watson from “the public relations course” in Some mother’s do ‘ave ‘em.
Who else noticed the microphone at 0:53 ?
There are actually people like this woman. The character was played by the late Joan Sanderson.
Manuel doing that dance at the end - hilarious.
Brilliant acting...this scene never grows stale...
This shit is black face adjacent, but then again we have a chocolate brand called "congitos" so, you get what you give I suppose
I've watched every episode many times. Never cease to be entertained
That car must be worth a fortune.
His acting skills, comedic timing and the Spanish accent were truly impressive. Almost hard to believe that he spoke with an impeccable RP in his natural voice.
I can see why John Cleese married Connie Booth - she is a woman of eternal beauty, she can write great comedy, and she can act!
This episode came from a conversation between John Cleese and his friend Andrew Leeman (who gave his name to the episode's corpse). Leeman was a real-life hotelier who said the biggest problem in his job was "getting rid of the stiffs"!
What makes this even funnier is Basil's sudden realisation that he can insult Mrs Richards as much as he wants and she can't hear him.
I grew up watching Faulty Towers on the Telly. I'm a huge fan 😊
"Look, I'm a doctor! I'M A DOCTOR AND I WANT MY SAUSAGES!" 😂😂
Dreadful woman! Dreadful!
haha and to think Americans tried to copy and release this as well as so many others, what were they thinking? They can never come close, no wonder this, some mothers do ave em, only fools and horses, red dwarf, dads army, Friday night dinner and the massive number of the other brilliant UK originals they tried to copy and release failed on either the pilot stages or after 1 episode lol. Leave the amazing comedy to the Brits and I don´t know, stick to bass fishing videos or something Americans lol
Brahms Third Racket!
He did not accuse nato of an incursion but eu has been such as Poland and hungry
Good afternoon gentlemen now what can I do for you three gentlemen and then screams and three hotel inspectors Jump was so funny 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
check out the moment the Major takes a woman to the Oval to watch the cricket and she called the Indians "niggers" and the Major says "No! they are wogs" !
Another sad victim of the 1970s bra shortage
Don't Panic!!What is there else to do???😂😂😂
Connie Booth. Hell yeah.
😂
I know Polly had her knockers, but personally I believe she was well cast. 👌🇦🇺
"Hullo, Fawlty Titties." 😂😂
😅😂
Nice body on that female!
1. Communication Problems is No 1 for sure. "I know nothing. Nothing." 2. The Psychiatrists. The scene where Basil puts the ladder up and looks into the two doctors rooms is priceless. 3. The Germans. "Yes you did. You invaded Poland!" 12. The Anniversary. Still brilliant, but the least funny.
I was in Torremolinos Spain and at breakfast an Italian couple asked for butter which is "burro" in Italian and the waiter did basically the same thing as butter is manteca in Spanish.
"Warm afternoon?" Must have been a chilly evening, instead...
Without a doubt greatest comedy ever. As funny as it was when I first saw it in the 70s.
"Well, thank you for coming to see me" Such a classic line! That's how I came to this clip.
True genius
She’s doing the same thing Terry Gilliam does: American accent, British words.
Lucky guy!!!
Polly was gorgeous, and just about the only sane person in the hotel!
Well The Major got as far as India at the cricket!
Wish you where a mouse
Mental lol.
Manuel: You are a hideous orangutan. **gets punched by the bearded worker who is obviously insulted** Basil: (on the phone) Well done Manuel, thank you very much.
Starling inspector 😂😂😂😂😂
Palsy old chap
The funniest part for me is that he doesn’t even try to restart the car after he gives it the countdown, but the whole scene is comedy gold, if ever I need cheering up I come here.
Was there any better comedy in British Television? this has to be the best of the best.
Classic
Cricket gag edited to appease those easily offended.
